Hakone Bushi-no-sato Art Museum
Real swords and armor are exhibited here, attracting passionate visitors from all over the nation. Furthermore, you can even try the armor on here, and you can catch many tourists acting like samurais around the museum.
Access: Take the Hakone Tozan Bus (T Route) from Hakone-yumoto station and alight at Sengoku-annai-jo-mae (23 mins). It is a 5 mins walk away.

Hakone Shrine Treasure Palace
Statues, paintings, old texts and traditional crafts from the Nara period till the Meiji period are exhibited here.
Access: Take the Hakone Tozan Bus (H Route) from Hakone-yumoto station and alight at Moto-Hakone-minato (38 mins). It is a 10 mins walk away.

Hakone Sekisho Resource Center

Access: Take the Hakone Tozan Bus (H Route) from Hakone-yumoto station and alight at Hakone Sekisho-ato (41 mins). It is a 2 mins walk away.

Hakone-choritsu Kyodo Resource Center
Find out how Hakone developed as a hot spring town over here. Once known for its ‘seven springs’ during the Edo period, Hakone is now known for its ‘seventeen springs’, and this process is explained in this center.
